PTFE Back Up Ring / Gland Packing

Teflon gaskets and Teflon O-rings

• Function: Made of pure polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), they possess corrosion resistance, high-temperature resistance, and low friction properties. Used in combination with U-packing or O-rings, they prevent seal deformation due to compression.

Spring Energized PTFE Lip Seals

• Function: A U-shaped Teflon seal with an internal spring, preventing liquid leakage from mechanical gaps.

Gland packing

• Function: Packing made of pure PTFE fiber braiding, used in fluid control machinery. Inserted around rotating or reciprocating shafts to prevent fluid leakage.
