O-Ring Materials - PU

Polyurethane rubber can be mixed and processed into two types: one is polyester polyurethane (AU), and the other is polyether polyurethane (EU).

Material properties:
● Type AU has excellent resistance to oil, fuel and solvents, but is susceptible to hydrolysis.
● EU type is not susceptible to hydrolysis, and has comparable fuel and oil resistance compared with low acrylonitrile (18-22% ACN) NBR or HNBR.
● Compared with other elastomers, any type of polyurethane rubber has excellent wear resistance, high tensile strength and high elasticity.

Applicable industries:
● Mechanical industry, especially materials that require higher wear resistance and higher tension.
