In industrial automation, vacuum suction cups are essential for handling, packaging, and assembly. Choosing the right size, shape, and material is critical for reliable sealing and efficiency.


Common Materials

●  NBR (Nitrile Rubber): Oil-resistant, economical, durable.

●  Silicone: Soft, flexible, food-grade, wide temperature range.

●  FKM (Viton): High chemical and heat resistance.


Vacuum pad selection method:
1. The weight of the object being moved – determines the size and type of the suction cup. If the object is heavy, consider the balance when lifting the workpiece, and the number and distribution of suction cups should be reasonable.
2. The surface shape of the object to be transported – select the type of suction cup. It is necessary to consider whether it has breathability, antistatic, shape (square, sphere, cylindrical), size of adsorption area, flatness, etc.
3. Working environment – ​​choose the material of the suction cup. Choose different materials according to different operating temperatures. In high-temperature environments, it is recommended to use silicone (SI) suction cups or fluorine rubber (Viton) suction cups.
4. The height of the object being moved - horizontal lifting or vertical lifting.
5. Buffer distance.
