O-Ring Materials - SBR, Buna® S
Styrene-butadiene rubber is a copolymer of styrene and butadiene. Its physical structure properties, processing properties and product uses are similar to natural rubber. It is the most widely used synthetic rubber.
Material properties:
● High elasticity, high strength and good wear resistance.
● It has poor oil resistance and is prone to aging and deterioration due to the double bonds in its main chain. It is not suitable for use outdoors, in UV, oxygen and ozone environments.
Applicable industries:
● Tires, anti-vibration rubber, hoses, conveyor belts and footwear industries.
