The First Choice For The Electronics And Wafer Industry - Anti-Static Vacuum Pad
Introduction to Electrostatic Discharge (ESD)
Causes of static electricity: friction, peeling, induction, etc.
Mechanism: Matter becomes charged by losing or gaining electrons
Comparison of three modes of ESD
Antistatic grade, can be divided into the following three grades
1. Basic antistatic level
Surface resistance value (SURFACE ELECTRIC RESISTANCE): 10 to the 9th power of 10 to the 12th power of 10Ω
2. Antistatic grade (static dissipation)
Surface resistance value (SURFACE ELECTRIC RESISTANCE): 10 6 to 10 9 Ω
3. Conductive static level
Surface resistance value (SURFACE ELECTRIC RESISTANCE): 10 to the 4th power of 10 to the 6th power of 10Ω
Why do you need an antistatic (static dissipative) grade?
People walking or rubbing is the main source of static electricity. Excessive accumulation of static electricity can cause electric shocks to people or cause errors or damage to precision equipment.
Example: The interior space of a modern office is almost central air-conditioning equipment. Using air-conditioning all day long will make the air drier, which will cause static electricity to be easily generated, accumulated and not easily dissipated.
Why do you need a static conductive level?
In high-precision rooms, such as wafer production lines, cutting rooms, ammunition depots, etc., where static electricity cannot accumulate, static electricity must be vented through static-conducting grade materials to avoid danger.
Example: Doctors need to monitor the indices of various precision instruments during surgery. If the readings of computers and instruments are incorrect due to electrostatic interference, the doctor may misjudge and cause irreversible mistakes.
in conclusion:
Antistatic level (static dissipation): suitable for indoor, factory offices, manufacturing and processing plants in offices, schools, hospitals, various public places.
Conductive static level: suitable for precision workshops such as surgery rooms, ammunition warehouses, IC equipment, wafer production lines, etc.
There are two types of antistatic materials that CNL can provide:
1. Conductive static level
Surface resistance value (SURFACE ELECTRIC RESISTANCE): 10 to the 4th power of 10 to the 6th power of 10Ω
2. Antistatic grade (static dissipation)
Surface resistance value (SURFACE ELECTRIC RESISTANCE): 10 6 to 10 9 Ω
For the material part, we can provide the following two options:
1. Silicon Silicone (Silicone)
2. NBR nitrile rubber (Buna rubber Bunan)
After manufacturing and production, CNL will use professional surface resistance measuring instruments to inspect materials and finished products to meet the requirements of the above two grades.
These antistatic materials are currently widely used on vacuum pads (vacuum pads, suction nozzles) to prevent static electricity from being generated during the suction process of the production line, resulting in product damage.
