O-Ring Materials - VITON™, FPM, FKM, HK
Fluorine rubber is a fully synthetic polymer elastomer material with different trade names from different brands. The trade name of FKM of American DuPontTM is Viton®, the trade name of FKM of American 3MTM Company is DyneonTM; the trade name of Japanese Daikin® is DAI-EL.
FKM's finished products generally refer to fluororubber with a raw rubber content of 66% fluorine, which is commonly known as Viton®.
In fact, fluororubber also has high fluorine (HFKM) finished products, whose raw rubber fluorine content is between 67-70%, and perfluorinated (FFKM) finished products, whose raw rubber contains more than 70% fluorine. Compared with FKM with general fluorine content, it has stronger chemical resistance and physical properties, but the relative selling price is also higher, and it is used in fields with higher requirements on the use environment.
Jianli Oil Seal is committed to the research and development of FKM, developed CNL VT7500K material, and made it into:
AS-568A O-ring, JISB2401 P, V, G, S specifications O-ring, oil seal, seal.
Material properties:
● High temperature resistance, static sealing can work in an environment of 200 degrees Celsius for a long time, and the instantaneous high temperature can reach 250 degrees Celsius.
● Has high tensile strength and structural strength.
● In terms of chemical resistance, it has excellent corrosion resistance. For organic solvents, inorganic acids, strong oxidants, and greases, its corrosion resistance is better than other types of rubber.
● The air tightness, weather resistance, flame resistance, radiation resistance and vacuum resistance are also better than other elastomer materials.
