Bonded Seal

• Function: Also known as washer oil seals, iron sheet washers, or bonded seals, these are seals made of iron and rubber bonded together. They are fitted over flat or recessed threaded holes to increase screw tightening and prevent leakage, while also preventing excessive compression and deformation of the rubber portion. BR gaskets have the same characteristics as BS gaskets, but with an additional lip in the middle of the inner diameter, providing self-centering performance and preventing displacement of the seal after assembly (commonly used in European standard thread sizes).
