Gland Packing

• Function: Also known as gland packing, it is made of cross-woven organic or inorganic fibers, lubricated with PTFE resin or similar materials to allow the shaft to rotate smoothly. Used in valves and pumps, these fluid control machines, it is inserted around the rotating or reciprocating shaft to prevent fluid leakage.
