How to select the proper seals？

Most users will select the seal according to the sample size and color,may not be able to select the right product.To recommend below procedures to select the accuracy of the seal.

1.Direction of motion：
Determine the location and mode of action of the seal,such as reciprocating,rotating,helical or stationary. 

2.Seal focus：
Example:Sealing effect is in the rod or in the piston.

3.Temperature： 
Deciding the material according to the original machine instructions or evaluating the operating temperature according to the actual working environment. 

4.Pressure level：
Checking the data from the original machinery instructions,or by observing the original seal hardness and structure to infer work pressure level.

5.Size：
Most users will purchase by used sample. After using a period,it will significantly affect the original size by temperature,pressure and wear and other factors.                                          

It can only be a reference according to the used sample. The better method is to measure the seals installation space, the accuracy will be higher.
