O-ring-Over Squeeze Analysis

Situation:
The O-ring has the same flat shape as the groove due to excessive extrusion.

Reason:
1. O-ring  is under high pressure or high temperature environment.
2. The O-ring compression is too large and is excessively squeezed.

Solution:
1. When selecting the material of O-ring, use a material with high heat resistance. (eg: VITON, Silicone, etc.).
2. The groove design of the O-ring should be checked to ensure that too much extrusion is not applied.
